North Bands Email List
The band directors rely heavily on the North Bands Email List to convey
important information to parents and students. Often this information is time-sensitive and
the email list is the only way to update band families quickly. The email list is MODERATED. Only the directors and a few members of the band
board are authorized to send messages to the list. You do not need to worry about
spam or email unrelated to the band program. Instructions on unsubscribing from the list are included at the end of each message sent to the list.
To Subscribe
- Send an email message to dwahlen@juno.com and ask to be subscribed.
- Be sure to list ALL email addresses you would like to BHSN Band list messages to be sent (home, work, student etc.)
- Please list ONLY email addresses that are checked on a regular basis to reduce the number of delivery failure messages we receive.
- If you prefer, download and print out the Listserv Request Form [PDF] [MS Word] and send it in to the band directors.
Address Changes
If you CHANGE email addresses, please send a message to dwahlen@juno.com asking to be unsubscribed at the old
address and subscribed at the new address.
Other Notes
The BANDS email list is different from the BHSN DAILY ANNOUNCMENT
email list. Both lists are very helpful tools for parents and students, but you must subscribe
to them separately. If you would like to subscribe ALSO to the school-wide BHSN
DAILY ANNOUNCEMENT email list, include it as a
separate request in your subscription request email to dwahlen@juno.com (or specify it clearly on the paper form).
