(Mar 10, 2006) Congratulations to the BHSN Winter Guard, which achieved a gold rating in the Class AA divisional finals today.
(Oct 21, 2006) The marching band put forth an outstanding performance and tied for fifth place among Class B bands at the ISSMA State Marching Band Finals at the RCA dome today. This is North's best finish ever. Contratulations to the students, directors, staff, and supporters who made this happen.

(Oct 14, 2006) The Cougar Marching Band qualified for the state tournament against some tough regional competition today! Come cheer for the band at the RCA Dome on the 21st.
(Aug 25, 2006) Students are being offered a special opportunity to sell ads right now, this fall, for next spring's yearbook, to help them earn money to help cover their costs for the upcoming marching-band trip to Phildalphia and New York. Please visit the yearbook page for more information.
(Aug 3, 2006) The band boosters will meet tonight at 7pm in the BHSN band room. The meeting is open to everyone, as are all boosters meetings.
(Aug 3, 2006) Our Philadelphia Parade kick-off meeting will be on 8/17 at 6:00pm in the band room. It is very important that if your child is planning on going on the trip that at least one parent is present at the meeting. Mark Harting, from our travel company, will be present to talk through all aspects of the trip.
(Aug 3, 2006) The marching band rehearsal schedule has changed again, with the Saturday (August 12) session canceled and the August 15 session extended to 3:00-9:00pm. The annual parent display and pitch-in is now scheduled for Saturday, August 26---the day of the marching band mini-camp. See the schedule page for details.
(July 30, 2006) The schedule for band camp has changed, with the Friday (August 11) session replaced by one on Saturday (August 12). The annual parent display and pitch-in is also scheduled for Saturday at 6:00pm.

(July 26, 2006) We need more pictures for the photos page and to rotate through the home page. If you have any digital photos, please send them to us (or send a link where they can be found). We're especially interested in recent pictures of the 2005 concert and jazz bands in action as well as pictures for the upcoming marching band season.
