Bands of America
North's Cougar Band capped off its 2009 season with its first ever appearance at the Bands of America Regional competition at Lucas Oil Stadium on November 7. The Cougar Band earned a Division I rating and finished fourth among the nine bands competing in class AA. Congratulations to all students and staff for a successful season!
State Finals!
Marching in the ISSMA state finals for the second straight year, the Cougar Band earned ninth place in Class B compeitition. Well done, marchers!

Bloomington North features a well-balanced band program, with three concert bands, four jazz bands, the Cougar Marching Band, and a Winter Color Guard program. Symphonic Band Competes in State ISSMA Finals
The Symphonic Band earned a sixth place finish in the ISSMA State Concert Band Finals, held May 9, 2009, at Lawrence Central High School.
Symphonic Band Takes St. Louis
