2007 Cougar Marching Band Contest Results
(27 October 2007) The Cougar Marching Band was the top-scoring band in Class AA at the Contest of Champions in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Oct. 27, 2007. Although they did not qualify for finals, as winners of their class, they earned the right to march in exhibition during the evening program. Congratulations, Cougar Band, on wonderful season!
(13 October 2007) The Cougar Band gave its best performance of the year and earned a Gold division rating at the 2007 ISSMA South Regional Marching Band Competition held at ISU in Terre Haute.
(6 October 2007) The Cougar Marching Band placed 2nd in this weekend's Carmel Invitational, and also brought home the caption award for Best General Effect.
(29 September 2007) At the ISSMA District Marching Band Contest, the Cougar Marching Band won a Gold division rating and won all three caption awards for Best Music, Best Visual Performance, and Best General Effect.
(22 September 2007) The Cougar Marching Band placed 3rd in the Sound of Brownsburg Invitational.
(15 September 2007) The Cougar Marching Band won the Music in Motion Invitational at Warren Central HIgh School, winning caption awards for Best General Effect, Best Visuals, and Best Music, and tying for Best Drum Major.
(8 September 2007) Playing indoors because of rain, the Cougar Band tied for 3rd in a ten-band field at the season's first competition, the Franklin Central Invitational on Saturday.
