Painless Ways to Support BHSN Bands

There are a couple of ways everyone – PARENTS, RELATIVES, FRIENDS, COLLEAGUES, EVEN BUSINESSES – can donate to the band program without spending a cent and no more than a couple minutes of their time!

We won’t know you’re making donations using your Kroger card, FundSponge, or AmazonSmile unless you tell us, but consider yourself thanked profusely!

1. Register your Kroger card

If you have a Kroger Plus Card (the one you use to get sale prices), as most of us do, you can have 3% of the money you spend at Kroger automatically donated to the BHSN Band Program by simply enrolling your Kroger Plus Card in the Kroger Community Rewards Program. This can be done by creating an online account at Kroger.com or KrogerCommunityRewards.com and searching for Bloomington High School North Band Boosters  (Organization Number:
PA430) in the appropriate spot. If you have questions or problems, contact the Band Bucks Coordinator.  (Note that this replaces the Kroger gift cards which used to put money into students’ band accounts. This program donates to the general fund.)

2. Use Band Bucks Gift Cards (almost painless)

You can even get free money for your own student’s band account by buying gift cards from ShopWithScrip.com or using Marsh or BloomingFoods gift cards! For each gift card you buy (and there are tons to choose from), a percentage of the purchase price will be deposited into your band account for your own band-related expenses. (If you don’t have kids in band, your rebates will go into the general fund.)

You will need to create an account at ShopWithScrip.com using the BHSN Band Boosters account number. After that, just login and order gift cards online. The gift cards will be mailed to our Band Bucks coordinator once a month and then made available for you to pick up. Paying online at ShopWithScrip is the best option, but checks are also accepted at the time of pickup. There is also an option to instantly pay and download gift certificates from some businesses. See the Band Bucks page for more information.

This is an ongoing program and you can order cards as often or as seldom as you like. You can also order cards for friends and family (just think about the payment and delivery logistics).
