Symphonic Band Wins National Adjudicators Invitational Contest

(26 April 2009) Congratulations to the Bloomington North Symphonic Band for giving an outstanding and musical performance at the National Adjudicators Invitational, held in St. Louis, April 25, 2009.  The adjudicators were extremely complimentary in their remarks and very generous in their scoring which led to the Grand Champion trophy.  The adjudicators also cited soloists Thea Bransby, Sarah Isaacson, and Josh Clampitt, and presented the band with the Best Brass section award.   This annual event is sponsored by Dixie Class Music Festivals.
