North Students Perform at IMEA Convention

(January 13, 2010) Congratulations to the following North musicians for being selected to the All-State Jazz Band & Combo:

Evan Smail (saxophone)
Nathaniel Elmer (trombone)
Mailyn Fidler (violin)
Kevin Kostelecky (piano)
Gershwin Marks (drums)
Grace Reynolds (piano)
Hannah Fidler (bass)
Sam Buehler (alternate trombone)

And selected for the Indiana Music Educators Association Honor Band were:

Cherryl Ellison (oboe)
Joshua Clampitt (flute)
Thomas Whitlock (trombone)

The All-State Jazz Concert will take place on Friday, January 22, at 2:30 pm, the IMEA Honor Band concert is on Saturday, January 23, at 1:00 pm.

In addition, Joshua Clampitt's award-winning composition for cello and orchestra will be performed on Friday, Jaunary 22 at 12:15 pm.

All performances take place at the Indiana Convention Center and are open to the public.
