North Band Members Selected for IBA All-State Bands

(February 2008) The following Bloomington North students have been accepted into the 2008 Indiana All-State "Honor" Band:

  • Weronika Balewski (flute)
  • Erika Anderson (oboe/English horn)
  • Andrew Meyer (alto saxophone)
  • Hannah Clendening (trumpet)

And accepted into the regular All-State Band:

  • Adam Nichols (bassoon)
  • Jonathan Esarey (alto saxophone)
  • Nathan Pratt (French horn)
  • Grant Eyster (percussion) [alternate]

Congratulations to these students for this great achievement as the audition selection is rigorous. These two bands will convene on the Indiana University campus to rehearse beginning March 7 and then present a final concert in the Musical Arts Center on Sunday, March 9, at 2:30 p.m. This concert is free and open to the general public.
