North Band Students Selected for IBA All-District Band

November 11, 2009

Congratulations to the following North students for being selected to the 2009 Indiana Bandmasters Association All-District Honor Band:

Josh Clampitt & Meredith Pelrine (flute)
Jennifer Brophy (oboe)
Matthew Munroe (bassoon)
Abby Bisessi & Shayne McNeill (clarinet)
Jimmy Ryan (tenor saxophone)
David Burke (trumpet)
Tejas Cousik (horn)
Thomas Whitlock & Victor Perez-Mendoza (trombone)
Dustin Coar, Wyatt Hatton, & Brian Mills (tuba)
Bailey Anderson (percussion)

The 84-piece concert band will rehearse Nov. 13-14 weekend at North and present its final concert at 3:00 pm in the North Auditorium on Sunday, Nov. 14. Admission is free. Guest conductor is Dr. Jeffrey Gershman, Associate Director of Bands at Indiana University.
