Advanced Jazz Band Wins at Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival

(24 February 2008) Congratulations to the Advanced Jazz Band, which turned in a sizzling performance at the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival in Moscow, Idaho, Feb. 21-24. The group was named the top band at their performance site (out of 25 bands). Four North student soloists were named "Best in the Class."

The trio of Lewis, Ben and Ian Ottinger was named an Honor Combo as well, and soloists Nathan Pratt, Brandon Anderson, and Hannah Clendening also turned in strong performances.
